Meagan Good was born Panorama City, Los Angeles on 8 August 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle was her manager as she entered her teens. Her family lived within Canyon Country with her three siblings and brothers in California. At four years of age she started acting. She appeared as an extra to TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen & M.D. at the start of her professional career. Her first movie, "Friday", was launched in the year 1995 as she was 13 years old. In 1997 she was recognized for her performance in Eve's Bayou as Cisely Batiste an unruly teenage girl. The film earned her the first N.A.A.C.P. nomination for this film. Image Award Nomination. Good had small roles in film and TV for a couple of years before transitioning to more mature roles at the dawn of the 2000s. She appeared in the role of Nina in Cousin Skeeter a Nickelodeon T.V. show from 1998 to 2001. In addition, she had tiny roles in the movies House Party to the Last Minute (1998) as well as 3 Strikes (2000). She played Vanessa Scott's role in the comedy My Wife and Kids. In 2004, she starred in D.E.B.S, an action comedy film that resulted in her being nominated as Best Actress at the Black Movie Awards in 2005. Kara Killmer's screen career started in the year 2010 when she appeared on the pilot episode Simon Fuller's Hulu TV series If I Can Dream. The show's focus was on an ensemble of actors who started to reside with each other in the city of Hollywood, California.
