Amber Benson, an American musician, producer and singer is also a songwriter. Her most well-known work is her character Tara Maclay on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and has also directed produced and starred in her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson is the daughter, born on January 8, 1977, of Edward and Diane Benson. Danielle is the younger sibling who is an artist. Benson was a member of a Reform Jewish synagogue when she was growing up. Her mother is a Southern Baptist and raised Jewish by her father, is too Jewish.
