Lisa Edelstein is an American actress who is best known for her role on the Fox medical drama, House. In a strictly Jewish childhood she was able to move from Wayne in the state of Wayne to New York City when she aged 18 and began attending Tisch School of Arts. Her performance quickly made her a part of the scene of clubs in New York. The performances she gave were so captivating that the local press took note. She used both her musical training and fame to write and perform in a musical of her own, Positive Me. She landed her first job at MTV as anchor of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. Her first appearances in television and film productions after the series ended. Initially, she was in smaller roles.
