Kari Sam Wuhrer was born on 28th April 1968 is an American Actress and Singer. Her career began when she was a teenager and is best recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders as well as her role as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), a payroll accountant, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, a police officer and auto salesman. The couple has three brothers. As a teenager, she performed at nightclubs by sneaking from the house. From the Wooster School, at 13 years old, she began studying drama. Later, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, with the renowned instructor Uta Hagen. She studied with her. Born on April 28, 1967, and was raised in Brookfield, Connecticut. She is the daughter a German-American father and a mother who is German-American. Kari has 3 siblings. Kari was a nightclub singer as an teen, sneaking away from her home to perform. Kari aged 13 years old, attended the Wooster School as well as the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She was also a student at Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College College, plus at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where she had a teacher renowned for her work as Uta. Kari began her journey into acting when she was 13 years old, and received her big break in 1987 when she appeared on MTV Remote Control.
