Alissa White-Gluz

Alissa was a leading singer for The Canadian metalcore group The Agonist. She currently sings for the Swedish Metal band melodic Death Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31st in 1985) is an Canadian singer who is best known as the lead vocalist for the Swedish melody-based death metal band Arch Enemy, and former singer-songwriter and founder of The Agonist, a Canadian metalcore band The Agonist. Her style of singing combines clear and growling vocals (singing). While she is mainly associated with melodic death metal and metalcore her appearances have included singer-in-residence for various powerful metal, symphonic rock and deathcore groups, including Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf in addition to performing live with Nightwish and Tarja Turunen. White-Gluz (2004-2014). In the year 2004 White-Gluz with co-members Danny Marino, Chris Kells together formed the band The Agonist with Chris Kells and Danny Marino in Montreal, Quebec.
